Bio

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Marshall University, Sabrina made the move from her small town in West Virginia to begin her professional journey as an English teacher in Richmond, VA. Having commenced her career as an educator, she recognizes the transformative power of education with a passionate commitment to initiatives that advocate for equal access to education for all. In her previous role as an Academic Coordinator at the University of Richmond, she played a pivotal role in shaping the Humanities Program. Her efforts contributed significantly to the program's trajectory, propelling it towards becoming a central hub for student resources and enrollment growth.

As VCAC's Outreach Coordinator, Sabrina is on a mission to cultivate and strengthen partnerships with universities, students, staff, and communities throughout Virginia. She understands that every relationship is a thread weaving the fabric of educational support, and is committed to ensuring that VCAC's initiatives resonate far and wide.

In her spare time, she practices stained glass at Richmond’s Visual Arts Center in Richmond, explores new local restaurants, and travels when she can, where she embraces the opportunity to explore various communities, understanding the nuances that make each one special.
