Hai Yan Dendy holds a B.S. in International Studies and Business from Emory & Henry College (EHC) and an M.A.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia Tech (VT). Hai Yan is joining VCAC from UVA Darden School of Business, where she served most recently as Assistant Director for Global Programs, managing a portfolio of global learning experiences for full-time MBA students and coordinating intake processes for new international students.
Previously, Hai Yan served as the Assistant Director and Recruitment Coordinator for the EHC Honors Program, Graduate Assistant for VT Student Affairs Office of Family and Alumni Relations, and International Programs Associate for the VT Pamplin College of Business. Her passion for higher education administration and college access stems from her personal experience as a first generation college student. Hai Yan is excited to use her skills to support the mission and vision of VCAC to expand education opportunities for all students.
In her free time, Hai Yan enjoys learning and trying new experiences. She is currently learning landscape photography and to play the ocarina.
